In the end, the reason why Larry Bird unloaded Stephen Jackson was clearly depicted during the playoff series vs the Jazz. Jackson, while talented, carries the burden of destructive and irrational behavior that weighs heavily on the team. Golden State needs to focus less on the chippy behavior and more on defense so that guys like Andre Kirilenko aren't allowed to dunk at will. |
