Sight for sore eyes: The Buccaneers offense, as seen by the Broncos, Saints and Rams, their next three opponents

Surprise Sight: After Sundays’ victory over the Browns, the Giant players presenting a home made apple pie to Tom Coughlin for his ‘inspirational’ treatment of them during training camp and beyond. Just goes to show what winning can do.

Amazing Sight: Late in the 3rd quarter with the Rams driving for a touchdown, Isaac Bruce snaring a Bulger aerial and instead of the standard drop down or run out of bounds, took on a defender head on in an attempt to secure a first down. The last time that happened, Pamela Anderson was sporting B cup and RoseAnn was a size 6.

Predictable Sight: Duante Culpepper, in the Vikings amazing non-cover win versus the Bears, had his usual multi fumble game, although both miscues were recovered by Minnesota. I hope old butterfingers is not planning a Michael Jackson ‘baby over the balcony stunt’ anytime soon.

Scary Sight: After watching Morten Andersen come up lame on yet another field goal, this time inside the MetroDome, the thought of a potential winning field goal in blustery Soldier Field has got to be a scary proposition for the Purple People Eaters. That game takes place December 5th and the Vikings close in D.C. the day after NewYears. No worries. Since George Blanda is busy doing volunteer work, rumor has it that Jan Stenereud is getting a tryout this week.

Ugly Sight: A tossup between A.J. Feeley’s passes and the Chief’s defense trying to tackle somebody.

Welcome sight: Jay Fiedler

Foresight: The first coach fired will be none other than Dave Wannstedt. Dick Vermiel will cry his way out of it.

Eye opening sight: Seeing the Jacksonville Jaguars in first place at 3-0, with a grand total of 3 legitimate touchdown drives all year.
